Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Truck Dispatcher.

As a Truck Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in efficiently coordinating and managing the movement of our fleet of trucks. Your exceptional communication skills and keen attention to detail will ensure the smooth and timely delivery of goods to our valued customers. Responsibilities: 

• Efficiently schedule and dispatch truck drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor driver activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and traffic regulations.
• Coordinate with customers, providing accurate delivery updates and resolving any transportation-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of each delivery, including date, time, driver details, and any incident reports.
• Track and monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance schedules for the fleet.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize routes, minimize costs, and maximize efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in resolving customer inquiries and complaints related to delivery.

Requirements:

•  High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience in dispatching, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
•  Knowledge of road regulations and transportation industry practices.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions. 
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
