- The incumbent will be responsible for all sales and related activities in his/her region.
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Drive, execute and manage business in the given region attaining the set marketing and sales objectives.
- Penetrate market through product prescription with consultants, contractors and architects.
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting client's objectives.
- Keep records of sales, revenue etc.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople.
Job Specifications:
- Successful incumbent must be a business Graduate with at least 12 to 15 years of experience in Business Development.
- Prior experience of Telecom & Defence sector will be plus.
- Should be a self-starter and with a knack of taking initiatives.
- Should be able to think "out of the box".
- Should have excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of project/institutional sales with market knowledge of potential business.
- Must be flexible, courteous, motivated and a team leader.
- Capable of handling fast paced environment and competition.
- A computer literate capable of making analytical business reports and presentations.
Compensation:
- Salary: Market competitive as per experience & market knowledge.
- Commission: Sales commission as per company policy, Sell more to earn more.
- Conveyance: The employee will use his own conveyance for the 1st six months.
