Description: 1. Supervise, coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and serve food.

2. Estimate and prepare budget for the purchase of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.

3. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.

4. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.

5. May participate in selection of food service staff and assist in other related assignments.

6. May plan mess/cafeteria menus and determine related food and labor cost.
